As a beginner, this is a useful tool to understand the theory of lock picking (not for criminal purposes!!) and contains a good variety of picks and trial locks. The picks are reasonably lightweight but fine for this set, though transferring skills to real locks demonstrates that more rugged picks are required. Also, picking real heavy duty locks is significantly more challenging than picking the trial locks. Good set and recommended, but understand that this is a beginner set.
