If you’re interested in learning how such locks work, as well as how to get into them, this is the kit for you. Tension wrenches and rakes provided to a point of redundancy, and the practice locks (while on the easy side) serve as a good introduction to this art.
Great tools, taught myself how to lock pick with this, turns out it’s actually worryingly easy! After mastering the see through locks to the point of it taking less than 10 seconds to open them, I bought a heavy duty padlock from the shop and was able to open that after a few minutes!
Great for learning! If anything the practice lock is a little too easy, however it¡¯s perfect for showing the internals of a padlock. The tools seem durable and I have opened a few doors with this set, more than good enough for a beginner.
Everything was there just as described. You can practice with it and see exactly what is happening inside the barrel.
Really good fun. Managed to pick my gate padlock and a new one bought from B&Q. I’m scared to try my house locks incase they pick easily !!!
